Description About the HomeGrid Stack’d Series All-Weather Heated Module This home battery is modular with 4.8 kWh increments, providing a capacity range of 9.6-38.4 kWh per Stack. This also allows for easy servicing and future expansion. With continuous output at up to 15 kW, and a surge of up to 24 kW for 10 seconds, true full-home backup is here with a 30-60 minute installation. When upgrading or expanding your battery capacity the manufacture recommends installing additional battery modules before 10 years from initial installation. Due to the nature of Homegrid’s BMS active module balancing, you do not need to bring the modules to the same voltage when adding to an existing bank the BMS will automatically balance the module. Firmware on original modules will need to be updated to match the new modules. Each Homegrid BMS base can hold 8 modules(Stack), up to 15 stacks can by added to a system in parallel. HomeGrid recommends not mixing heated modules with Non-heated modules.
