Description This beautiful specimen has purple cubic Fluorite crystals on the cluster which are clear lilac with darker purple edges, some of them also have yellow hematite inclusions. Interspersed on the specimen are prismatic Quartz crystals which are opaque white to clear, with additional minor Calcite in a white to cream drusy crust all on a grayish-white matrix. This beautiful specimen fluoresces purple under SW, MW and LW Ultraviolet light with minor Calcite fluoresces red. Fluorescent photos were taken in a blackout box with a Nikon CoolPix L-1 digital camera under a “Way Too Cool” triple wave 254/368/312 nm (SW/MW/LW) 9-Watt Lamp. Daylight photos were taken outdoors in natural light on an overcast mostly cloudy day. This specimen has been in our personal collection for the past 20 years. It was procured at the Quartzite rock show in 2003. It is from Yao Gan Xian, Hunan Province, China. Specimen weighs 40.6 oz or 2.5 lbs. (1.152kg) and measures 6.5 x 6 x 1.75 inches (15.9 x 15.2 x 4.4 cm)
