Description GROUND WATER is located in geologic formations beneath the earth’s surface called aquifers. Ground water is usually the safest and most reliable source of water. A SPRING is a place on the earth’s surface where the ground water emerges naturally. The WATER COLLECTION SYSTEM accumulates the ground water as it emerges at the head of the spring, filters off debris and passes the water by gravity to the spring box or directly to the reservoir. The system is designed for easy installation, efficiency and durability. Installed properly, insects, leaves, and surface water are prevented from entering the system. The head wall measures 48 inches long by 12 inches high and is flexible. It can be custom cut and shaped at the spring site to contain the flow. Each WATER COLLECTION SYSTEM includes a head wall, a water outlet, an overflow/flush system, a plastic cover to protect the spring from surface water and collection pipes that can be quickly assembled and positioned to best receive the spring water.
